At Parlay Hair and Beauty Salon in Jensen Beach, Florida, we were built on a single, foundational belief: that the salon experience should be deeply personal, genuinely skilled, completely honest, and entirely focused on the individual sitting in the chair. Not on a trend. Not on a template. Not on what looks beautiful in general – but on what looks most beautiful on you, specifically, in the life you actually live in this specific, extraordinary community on Florida’s Treasure Coast.

Our Story - How Parlay Came to Be
Parlay Hair and Beauty was founded by Ashley – owner, master stylist, and the heart of everything this salon is – after over 17 years of building expertise, building relationships, and building a deep, specific understanding of what exceptional salon service actually looks and feels like.
Ashley relocated to Florida from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania a decade ago, bringing with her not just the technical skills she had spent nearly two decades developing but a clear-eyed vision of something she had been watching disappear from the salon industry throughout her career: the genuine, relationship-driven, client-first approach to hair care that transforms a routine appointment into an experience that actually matters.
She saw clients being rushed through chairs. She saw recommendations made from habit rather than genuine assessment. She saw stylists technically competent but artistically disengaged – doing hair rather than caring about it. And she decided to do something about it.
The name Parlay is intentional. In its original meaning, to parlay something is to take what you already have – the natural features, the personal style, the individual confidence – and transform it into something even better. Not by changing who you are. By elevating who you already are to its highest expression.
That philosophy is the foundation of every service at Parlay. We do not impose a look on our clients. We discover what is most beautiful about each individual and build from there – using genuine expertise, genuine care, and genuine attention to the person rather than the appointment.
